What account data can I import from my CRM to use in Account Research? | |
Can we change how clusters get created? | We can tune the clustering algorithm for your needs. Think of it as a slider between smaller and larger groups. Smaller clusters capture more nuance while larger clusters capture bigger groups. The best way to think about it is by asking “what’s the smallest number of accounts we’d like to target as a group?” By default, Market Map chooses a minimum cluster size based on analysis of past Market Maps. This default minimum cluster size typically falls between 10 and 40 depending on the number of accounts analyzed. If you want to change this, just ask. |
Why are some accounts not in a cluster? | Every account will be scored based on its similarity to your customers but not every account will be assigned to a cluster. The clustering algorithm has a minimum cluster size. If an account isn’t part of a group that is at least this minimum size, it won’t be included in a cluster. This lets you identify outliers in your dataset that might not be worth targeting. By default, this minimum is based on how many total accounts are analyzed and usually falls between 10 and 40 accounts before a cluster forms. |
