# Platform Authentication

We support two primary modes of authentication into the Gradient Works Platform: email and SSO. When you visit <https://app.gradient.works/signup> you'll see the following:

*For enterprise organizations, we highly recommend using SSO via either Google or MS Azure AD*

Regardless of which method you choose, once the account is created you'll need to verify the email address used for authentication in order to finish setting up your account. You'll see the following screen:

Once verified, you'll be straight in.

#### Notes on SSO

For the security minded, our SSO apps request the following scopes:

* Google - Basic Profile, Extended Profile
* MS - Basic Profile
