How to Install Similar Accounts Component

Use the following steps to install the similar accounts component to your salesforce instance and enable your reps prospect to similar accounts.

• Importing data from Market Map to Salesforce and configuring Market Map settings are pre-requisite to installing the Similar Accounts component

• You need appropriate permissions to edit the Account Page for the salesforce users who will use the Similar Accounts Component. Contact your salesforce administrator to request permissions as necessary.

1. Open a Account page record & select "Edit Page" From the Setup Menu.

   

   Choose Edit Page to enter Lightning page editor

2. Open the Tab editor for the left column and add a new tab.

   

   Add a new tab to left column for the similar accounts module

3. Select a name for your new tab. We like "Similar Accounts".

   

   Choose a name for the tab where the similar accounts component will live
4. Drag the "Gradient Works Market Map" custom component to your new tab.

   

   Drag the Gradient Works Market Map component to your new tab in Salesforce.
5. Save the Account Page Layout and return to the account record in Salesforce. You're done.
