In a dynamic books system, the amount of accounts assigned to reps is limited to the reps capacity to work them. As reps work accounts to completion, new accounts are assigned to them to keep them at capacity. In this system, there is a large group of accounts in your ICP that are not assigned to a rep at any point in time.
These accounts live in an "Account Pool" which you can think of holding tank of accounts waiting to be assigned and engaged by reps.
Bookbuilder provides a way to configure your account pool and define the users in SFDC who own unassigned accounts.
After configuring your account pool, Bookbuilder will make it easy to transfer to/from the Account Pool in Distributions and Retrievals and will include accounts owned by account pool users in unassigned metrics throughout the reporting tools.
